SPECIALIST SERVICES

Network protection built around how your enterprise connects.

Design and improve the controls connecting users, sites, applications and cloud resources. DBNETIT helps your network and security teams examine access paths, resolve configuration gaps and plan changes around business dependencies.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Where we can help

Firewall policy and administration

Review exposed services, rule purpose, privileged access and configuration ownership. Identify redundant or overly broad rules and prepare changes with business approval, validation and a workable rollback plan.

Remote access and identity

Examine VPN or zero trust network access requirements, authentication, device conditions and application reachability. Match access policies to the resources people need and the controls the selected platform supports.

Segmentation and permitted traffic

Map connections between users, servers, cloud resources and sensitive workloads. Define the traffic that must remain available, document exceptions and stage segmentation changes around application dependencies.

Wireless and device admission

Review business and guest wireless access, device identification and network admission controls. Identify authentication, inventory and separation requirements before selecting configuration changes or additional tooling.

Configuration and recovery readiness

Examine administrative access, configuration backups and recovery procedures for selected network devices. Record the information and responsibilities needed to restore or reverse a change.

Logging and operational visibility

Review relevant device logs, monitoring coverage and escalation ownership. Connect visibility gaps with the network decisions and operational tasks they affect.

THE ENGAGEMENT

From requirements to a documented result

  1. 01

    Map the connections

Identify sites, applications, access paths, administrators and operating constraints.

  2. 02

    Review the controls

Examine selected policies, configurations and evidence with the teams responsible.

  3. 03

    Plan and validate changes

Set dependencies, approvals, maintenance windows, test criteria and rollback arrangements.

  4. 04

    Hand over the result

Document configurations, permitted traffic, outstanding exceptions and continuing review responsibilities.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Practical deliverables

The proposal identifies the outputs, systems and validation activities included in your engagement.

  • Network and access baseline identifying systems, boundaries and key dependencies.
  • Prioritized findings and a change plan with owners, prerequisites and validation criteria.
  • Implementation and test records for the changes included in the engagement.
  • Configuration, access and operational handover documentation.

RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Enterprise architecture and hybrid infrastructure

Developed infrastructure designs and roadmaps spanning connectivity, switching, routing and application delivery, together with compute, storage and virtualization. The work covered capacity planning, automation, performance troubleshooting and data protection, with cloud connectivity and secure access built into the wider architecture.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can you work with our existing firewalls and network providers?

We begin with the installed platforms, current responsibilities and required changes. Relevant specialists and product versions are identified before work is proposed; a review does not assume that equipment or providers must be replaced.

How do you reduce disruption during network changes?

Map dependencies, define approval and maintenance arrangements, prepare validation steps and establish feasible rollback options. These measures support controlled delivery; they do not guarantee that every change will be interruption-free.

Is segmentation simply a matter of creating VLANs?

VLANs can support separation, but the design also needs to address permitted traffic, enforcement points, routing, management access and application dependencies. Validation should test both required connectivity and the restrictions the design is intended to enforce.

What should we prepare for a first discussion?

Describe the affected sites, applications, access concern, existing providers and target dates. Keep detailed network exports, credentials and sensitive configurations out of the public contact form; establish appropriate handling arrangements before sharing them.
