Who we are
DBNET Innovative Technology (“DBNETIT,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates https://dbnetit.com and is based in the Northeast USA.
This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website and business inquiries. Processing undertaken during client engagements may be covered by separate contracts and data-processing terms.
For privacy questions or requests, contact info@dbnetit.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us through our website or email, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, business details, service interests and message content.
Our hosting and form-processing providers may also process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps and security logs, to deliver the website and prevent abuse.
Please do not submit passwords, financial account details, medical records or confidential system information through the general contact form.
Text entered in the Project Readiness Worksheet is processed locally in your browser to create a downloadable PDF. The worksheet does not submit those notes to DBNETIT. Information you later choose to send to us is handled as described in this policy.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and discuss requested services.
- Prepare proposals and manage business communications.
- Operate, maintain and protect our website.
- Detect spam, fraud and other misuse.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and maintain necessary business records.
Providing inquiry information is voluntary. Without sufficient contact details or information about your request, we may be unable to respond.
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, our grounds for processing may include our legitimate interests in answering business inquiries and securing the website, taking requested steps before entering a contract, performing a contract, and meeting legal obligations. Where processing requires consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Hostinger for website hosting and Web3Forms to process contact-form submissions and deliver notification emails. Our email provider also processes messages sent to and from our inbox.
Web3Forms may use infrastructure and spam-screening providers to process submissions and prevent abuse. Submission information may be retained within its service as well as in our inbox.
Provider information is available here:
- Hostinger: https://www.hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Web3Forms: https://web3forms.com/privacy
We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, obtain professional advice or protect legal rights.
Cookies and visitor tracking
We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or similar visitor-tracking tools.
WordPress, hosting infrastructure and security features may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, such as authentication and security.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect some functions. We will update this notice when our use of tracking technologies changes and provide choices where required.
How long information is kept
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, manage the resulting business relationship and meet relevant recordkeeping or legal requirements.
Retention depends on whether discussions remain active, whether an engagement follows, and whether records are needed for contractual obligations or legal claims.
Copies held by service providers, email systems and backups may have different retention schedules. Web3Forms describes its submission-retention arrangements in its privacy policy.
International processing
We operate in the United States and use providers whose infrastructure and personnel may be located in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence.
Web3Forms describes international processing and transfer safeguards in its privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement. Contact us for information about arrangements relevant to your inquiry.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict certain processing or withdraw consent.
You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To make a request, email info@dbnetit.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits.
Where applicable, you may complain to the relevant privacy regulator, including an EU supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk.
Security and changes
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy as our services, technology or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
